JNPMEDI has signed an MOU with Korea University Medical Center to promote mutual cooperation in new drug development research and medical device clinical trials using JNPMEDI's clinical trial data collection and analysis solution Maven CDMS.

The medical data platform JNPMEDI (hereinafter referred to as JNPMEDI, CEO Kwun-ho Jeong) signed an MOU with Korea University Medical Center (hereinafter referred to as Korea University Medical Center, Vice President and Medical Center Director Young-hoon Kim) to promote new drug development research and medical device clinical trials using JNPMEDI's Maven CDMS. The agreement was promoted with the aim of promoting the development of the pharmaceutical and medical device industries by establishing an organic business cooperation system between JNPMEDI and Korea University Medical Center and strengthening and digitizing the competitiveness of domestic clinical trials.

The event was held at Korea University Medical Center MediScience Park with key positions at Korea University Medical Center, including Byung-joo Ham, Tae-hoon Kim, and Il-ho Park, head of clinical research support, and officials from JNPMEDI, including CEO Kwun-ho Jeong, director Jin-gon Kim, and team leader Hyung-joon Kim.

The agreement was promoted with the aim of promoting the development of the pharmaceutical and medical device industries by establishing an organic business cooperation system between JNPMEDI and Korea University Medical Center and strengthening and digitizing the competitiveness of domestic clinical trials.

"We are very pleased with the agreement with JNPMEDI, which is the fastest digital transformation in the domestic clinical trial industry," said Byung-joo Ham, head of the medical research department. "We hope to activate researcher clinical trials (IIT) along with global clinical research conducted by institutes by enhancing researcher convenience and digitizing clinical trial data."

CEO Kwun-ho Jeong said, "It is meaningful to establish a clinical trial cooperation system with Korea University Medical Center, which has the best hospitals and researchers in Korea," adding, "Korea has the world's best clinical trial infrastructure and software development and service capabilities. We will quickly apply this clinical test as a global trend.

Meanwhile, JNPMEDI is conducting Korea's first decentralized clinical trials (DCT) and has recently taken the lead in the industry by successfully completing the nation's largest digital clinical trial symposium "JNPMEDI Connect 2022."

In addition, Korea University Medical Center developed PHIS (Precision Medical Hospital Information System) for the first time in Korea in 2021 and completely converted it to the cloud. Through this, it plans to lead the innovative development of clinical research, such as the establishment of stable medical big data and the linkage of convergence research networks.
