JNPMEDI, a medical data platform company, announced on the 22nd that following its designation in the Ministry of SMEs and Startups’ ‘TIPS’ (Tech Incubator Program for Startup) in mid-April last year, it has now been selected for the ‘Scale-up TIPS’ program, organized by the same ministry.

‘Scale-up TIPS’ is a government-driven program aimed at supporting the growth of domestic technology startups. JNPMEDI has been selected in the investment-linked Research and Development (R&D) sector, securing a total of 12 billion KRW in R&D funds for three years.

This selection reflects positive evaluations of JNPMEDI’s technological prowess in areas such as artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain, cloud technology, and the viability of clinical trial digital transformation, particularly in Decentralized Clinical Trials (DCT). Consequently, the company plans to accelerate the development of patient-centered clinical trial solutions utilizing mobile devices such as smartphones and wearables.

Kwunho Jeong, CEO of JNPMEDI, mentioned, “Digital technology adoption in the field of clinical trials is accelerating, enough for remote and non-face-to-face trials to become the new norm worldwide. This recognition will drive our efforts not only in leading digital innovation in the clinical trial market but also in seeking entry into global markets like the United States and Australia. We aim to grow as a competitive company in both domestic and international markets.”
